Voting is Now Closed

Voting for ED+C’s and Sustainable Facility’s 2011 Readers’ Choice Awards has come to an end. We’d like to express our thanks to all of the companies who entered a product, as well as to everyone who participated in the voting.

The winners in each category will be announced in the October issue of each publication. The results will also be posted on www.EDCmag.com and www.SustainableFacility.com.

Environmental Design + Construction (ED+C) and Sustainable Facility are launching the publications’ fourth annual Readers’ Choice Awards. This contest will give both manufacturers and readers the opportunity to showcase and vote for, respectively, the best of green building products that best combine sustainable attributes with ease of use and installation.

Contest Rules

Submission Criteria/Requirements:

To submit an entry, sign up here for an RCA account. Signing up will enable you to come back at any time to work on your entry. Once logged in, select "New Entry" from the menu at the top to get started. To resume working on the entry later, just click Login.

To submit a completed entry, the following information MUST be entered:

• Category
• Manufacturer Name
• Product Name
• Product Description (approximately 100 words)
• One Product Image (in JPEG or GIF format, no larger than 1024 x 768 pixels and no higher than 300 dpi)

Entries are being accepted for the following categories:

• Interiors (flooring, furnishings, finishes)
• Alternative Energy Systems
• Building Envelope (roofing, windows, doors, shading, curtainwalls, exterior coatings)
• Framing, Structural or Insulation Products
• Mechanical / HVAC Products
• Lighting / Building Controls
• Water Conservation/Management, Plumbing
• Software and Web-based Programs
• Services and Related Products (cleaning, waste management, recycling, education, certifications)

Payment

A separate fee of $50 (US) is required for each product entered. We will only be accepting submissions and payments online. However, if you have a display ad, you can choose "Bill Me With My Display Ad."

Winners

Winners will be awarded at Greenbuild. Promotions will be in print, online, and in eNews letters. Editorial coverage of the winners will be in October 2011.
